RESPUBLICA BERNENSIS Standing bear to left, head to right, holding twig in right and resting his left paw on crowned shield; cornucopia and cannons at feet. Rev. FELICITAS - PUBLICA Helmeted and cuirassed Minerva standing, resting her right hand on pedestal and holding fasces in left hand, owl at right; below SENATUS ET SEDECIM / VIRI. SM 635. Wunderly 1361. Very attractive and beautifully toned. The usual die faults and tiny edge nicks, otherwise, good extremely fine.
